We are seeking a Content Administrator for our Localization team who will be responsible for tactical, detailed management of localized content in a content management system. This role also involves managing requests from customers for maintenance of site content as well as localization of new content as initiatives are launched. This position is within our Localization team but has visibility to the entire organization. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, self-motivated individual with experience and skills in web content management, writing and editing for the web, graphic design and site management.

The Content Administrator will work closely with account management and project coordination teams as well as the customer as needed, so strong communication skills are required. Tasks require a strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. Localization does not mean simply translation of content. Our team works closely with our clients to understand the content that will be presented to international markets and implements that content. This job does not require the candidate to translated content in any way.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary expert on publishing content within the content management system.
  • Continually optimize content and experience through new tools and features.
  • Manage content for customer brand sites (requires working with content management software)
  • Create content for customer brand sites for local markets
  • Manage promotional content for local markets
  • Copy, edit and proofread all web content
  • Quality assurance testing on published web content

Skills and Responsibilities

  • At least 2 years of experience as a digital producer or content manager
  • Working knowledge of CSS, HTML, PhotoShop and Microsoft Office. Adobe Flash experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience with popular content management systems (Tridion, Drupal, etc.) is a plus but not required
  • Working as part of the localization team does not require a second language, though it can be helpful. Our team receives translations from our client for implementation with clear references back to English content.
